Eligibility Criteria

Everything you need to know about participating in the Undergraduate Business Case Competition

Who Can Participate?

Review these requirements to ensure your team is eligible

Academic Standing

Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate business related course at a recognized Canadian university or college.

Geographic Eligibility

Domestic and International Students currently pursuing an active in-person business undergraduate program from a recognized Canadian university or college are eligible to apply.

Team Requirements

Teams of maximum two (2) participants. Team members from different universities or colleges are encouraged.

Academic Performance

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (B average) or equivalent in current program.

Application Requirements

Complete these steps to submit your team's application

Complete online registration form with team member details

Create a Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive link for the following submissions - A letter of recommendation from a faculty member, a two (2)-minute introductory video of both team members, most recent academic transcripts, and a letter of enrollment for both team members.

Pay registration fee of $100 per team (early bird applicants can apply for free)

Agree to competition terms and conditions

Review and Confirm availability for in-person attendance on competition day

Successful registrants will receive a Case Study to solve within 48 Hours

Application Tips

Submit your application early to secure your spot and take advantage of early bird pricing. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Competition Timeline

Early Bird Registration

Early Bird applicants can register their team for free

October 1 - October 31, 2025

Regular Registration

Standard registration period will incur a cost of $100 per team

November 1 - January 31, 2026

Competition Day

In-person competition in Toronto with networking events and awards ceremony

  • • Morning case - Pen & Paper format (no internet access)
  • • Afternoon case - Computerized with complete access to the internet
  • • Final presentations

Important Notes

The competition is an in-person event in Toronto and teams that are selected for the competition from outside the GTA area must make their own travel arrangements.
